Compass Travel has started with a ‘deeper dive' into Mozambique, especially designed for the 'die hard' diver. This tour is a bit more comfortable than the three week safari; also guided, also with 4 x 4 overland truck, but the tents stay at home on this occasion, no camping on this tour. We stay in huts or chalets. We have also cut quite a few kilometres to make the trip even more relaxed, creating more time to search for plankton eating giants like whale sharks and manta's. The idea is to spend considerable time at or beneath the surface. Tofo and Barra are perfect locations to relax and enjoy these pleasures.

Apart from diving, there are a lot of activities to occupy your spare time and keep you entertained; quad biking or kayaking through the mangroves, horse riding on the beach, deep sea fishing, visits to the local village or working on your tan and finally read that book which was gathering dust next to your bed. As part of the tour we visit the trading town of Inhambane as well as Maputo. The hundred year old Kruger Park in South Africa closes off our journey, where we'll try to maneuvre the ‘Big Five' in front of your lens.
